My client Praful moved himself and his family from India to Australia after working 13+ years in the IT Industry. The challenge for him was that he was a Permanent Resident and had to give a 2 year Visa commitment in Canberra (capital city), however it’s difficult to get an IT job in Canberra because most employers require a high security clearance typically only issued to Australian citizens. This led to a TWO year job gap on his resume and this obviously affected his confidence too.
We worked on his strengths, resume, confidence and interview skills and after moving to Sydney he found a job in 8 weeks!
He is now working as a Senior Testing Engineer for a large IT company in Sydney.
