Annalise came to me fresh out of uni, after completing her Marketing and HR degree. After many months, she was frustrated that she had applied for dozens of jobs but no call backs.
We did her strengths and then looked at her resume. I saw that she minimised her achievements while working at Woolworth’s for 7 years, where she had worked up to Department Manager for online sales.
Throughout her job search, she told me her goal coming out of uni was to work at the Woolies head office. After we fixed up her resume, she started getting call backs for entry level marketing jobs.
At one point she had two opportunities at the same time, however they didn’t pan out. And for good reason…
Woolie’s finally called – they asked her to come in and interview for the Catalogue Coordinator role in the Marketing Department. Armed with the new IMPower Coaching knowledge, she prepped for the 1st interview, and the 2nd interview.
SHE GOT THE JOB!!!
And Annalise’s new teammates (those involved in the interview process) shared with their leader and Annalise that she was a standout compared to all the other applicants.
Congratulations Annalise – your hard work finally paid off!!!
