This is my client, Omy, who was ready to give up her dream of landing a Graduate Nursing job after trying for 12 months. Part of the reason for her struggle was that she had to take a break after uni to care for her mum with cancer. She had to take a job in hospitality while taking care of her mum and her young daughter.
We decided to go through Omy's strength's of Activator, Input, Restorative, Empathy, and Positivity. All great strengths for a nurse!!
One day I asked my daughter who worked as an AIN (Assistant in Nursing) at a hospital to give Omy’s resume to her manager, which she did. Still no response.
After many months, Omy got a call for an interview. She couldn’t believe it. We did some interview preparation and even after the interview she wasn’t sure how she did. Three days later she got the offer! She even got an offer as a full-time nurse, instead of Graduate nurse, which means slightly higher pay.
